Dr. P. K. Rai was born on 5th May 1968, obtained his Ph.D in Mycology & Plant Pathology, from Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in 1993 with Merit Fellowship for outstanding academic performance. He started his research & teaching career from SKN, Jobner and joined ICAR-DRMR on Aug 26, 2009 as Pr. Scientist (Plant Pathology).
