The ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur celebrated the 26th Foundation Day at its campus on October 20, 2019. The Chief Guest, Honorable Dr. Arvind Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh stated that the rapeseed-mustard crop is only the crop which can improve the economic status of resource poor farmers in the county. He appreciated the efforts of the staffs for the achievements of the Institute and motivated them for its further overall improvement. He urged the Institute members for conducting the activities that can help in increasing the farmers’ income and making country self-sufficient in edible oil.
