The Minister of State (MoS) for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Shri Kailash Choudhary visited ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur on August 17, 2019 and assessed ongoing research activities in the Directorate. He stressed upon doubling the farmers income by 2022 for which he advised the scientific community to develop climate resilient production and protection technologies, including varieties. He said that, farmer's loan waiving is not a permanent solution for overall development of agriculture and allied sector in the country.
