Samaj Sadan, a recreation club of the Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur organized poetry lessons on Sunday (16-9-2018) for giving fitting tribute on first monthly death anniversary of of Bharat Ratna late Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, former Prime Minister of India. The programme was started by Having a two-minute silence for the peace of the departed soul followed by Director read the introduction of Vajpayee's life, he highlighted his achievements of political carrier, devotion to country and sensitiveness to the society. As well as politicians, Sh. Vajpayee Ji, was a noble person and a great poet. In the poetry annotation, the famous poets of Bharatpur district, Shri Som Dutt Vyas, Shri Ram Babu Bidhohi and Shri Purnan Sharma, through their poems, explained the country proud of Bajpayee's personality. The popular poems composed by sh. Vajpayee ji such as "हार नहीं मानूंगा, रार नहीं ठानूंगा..", "काल के कपाल पर लिखता ही जाता हूँ", etc. were discussed. On this occasion poets read several poems on patriotism. DRMR staff and farmers participated in the programme.The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. Vinod Kumar, Pr. Scientist, in last he stated that great soul never dies, we take inspiration from their lives and recorded hearty thanks to the poets and all participants.
